Quote:No I do NOT have an AGP Slot.
The card was no more than a year old.
It was a NVIDIA FX5200
Hey Mr Tantrum, don't blow your stack 'cos your naffy PCI card's died & gone to heaven !
Fly In was only trying to help, pointing out that an AGP is better than PCI.
Next issue, the FX5200 is a poor card, even in AGP format.
Do some research, you'll find, for little outlay, you can get into last years technology (get an AGP Motherboard) or, really come into the 21'st century and go for a current PCI-Express motherboard & card.
If you insist on a PCI card, yes, they exist, but are a pointless investment, unless of course, your paying about £10 on Flea-Bay.
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/FX_Series.html Geforce FX PCI & PCI Express cards.
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/MXPCI_Series.htmlYou'll find, if you do your homework, you'll be able to buy a "tower upgrade" i.e. Motherboard, CPU, RAM
AND Graphics card for ,roughly, what I paid for my graphics card , - Under £150.....
£150 is pretty much an average price for a current "mid range" Card (consider a 6800Ultra 512MB is way over £400! )

Your money, your choice. I would upgrade to at least AGP, especially as I am a Flight Sim user !!!!
