Does anyone know if it is worth the money and how well it works on fs9?

That is a lower end card nowadays. I see it is DX9.0 compliant so it will work.
I think if you did some shopping around you could probably find a bit more card for the same or a tad more money.
Take a look at graph and decide:

What are you upgrading from?
I have Ati Radeon 9550 card, it's ok for fresh FS9, however i've added loads of traffic, and with settings at max it's a bit of a let down to be honest.
Save up for a month or two and buy a 9800pro or XT or equivalent, i'm doing the same.
Avoid any graphics card with the suffix SE.

Don't bother with the 9800's.
Buy the 6600 gt. It can beat any 9800 hands down for the same price (or even less if you find a good deal) in almost any benchmark including fs2004.

Umm...NO.
SLi performs much better because it uses two cards to render. Even the ati-biased HL2 runs better with SLI.
Only game is fs2004 where SLI can be beaten by a single ard solution and thats cause the fs2004 rendering engine sucks.
All things aside though, the x850 is an awesome card and I have it in all of computers except two of them.
