Grin Hey everyone in celebration of our 60 yrs of freedom the bbmf Lanc paid us a visit. It took off from Soesterberg and went to Wageningen. Then It headed towards where we were (near schiphol) Of course ATC wanted some fun as well and stopped traffic for 2 mins so that the lanc could do a flypast near the tower. (YUP Schiphol an international airport Grin). It only made one flypast But man what a sound!! We were near a little museum Crash which holds all kinda artefacts of crashed planes from ww2 really a fun museum. However today was a busy day there so I am gonna return another day!

Close, the picture on the engine shows the Stirling, so I assume its a Bristol Hercules. A Centaurus would need a bloody big prop as well if it only had three blades... Wink Grin

I'm rather fond of the RR Kestrel at full chat too. Mercury's nice as well...


...but you can't beat a Merlin
