I have an Epson Stylus CX6600 All-In-One machine connected to one of the USB ports. Can anyone tell me why this machine is listed under the "Disk Drives"  along with the two HDs in the Device manager?  Should'nt it be under the USB Controllers or maybe COM ports. But when I turn the Epson All-In-One off, it disappears from list in the Device Manager.

Well theres an Epson Stylus Colour 440 beside me now, and under 98SE its in the device manager under Ports (COM and LPT) as Epson Printer Port (LPT1). Of course thats parralel, so its not that similar to yours, but thats the best i can offer im afraid!

Can you insert memory cards from a camera directly into the printer?

If so that's why ........ it's just showing it as another storage device.

Yes I can insert a camera memory card into a port in the Stylus CX6600 and view/edit it in my PC.  My ZIP250 also appears in  "disk drive" of the Device Manager along with the two HDs and the Epson Stylus All-InlOne.

Thanks.
