LOL my dad gave in and got an RC truck for us to use.  At my parents place, they just sold their two horses, and now have a nice 3-4 acrea area to play around with, so, he decided that we (dad, my brothers, and myself)  get gas powered RC cars.  Well, today I just learned my dad got a 4WD, 2 speed forward and (yes, AND) reverse, RC monster truck... the Traxxas T-maxx.

So, here are some pics from the website.  Unfortunately I'm stuck 120 miles away at school!  Aaahh!!  lol

My brother in law has had one for a couple of years now, and man that thing flys!  It gets up to 30+ EASY, once that thing hits 2nd gear!   Not to mention with the 5.75" tires, it goes over anything.  Also, it's got disk brakes and indipendent suspension.  When tuned right it will also pop wheelies.

Anyway, I'm totally excited to get home and play with this!  What would be fun, would be to launch my little Foam plane with the truck!! lol  And then do some straffing runs against the truck!

What you need to do is, get yourself a 3ft x1ft piece of coroplast sign board and attach it to the top of the truck ....mark it like a carrier flight deck......add some velcro fuzz.....then take the wheels off a slow flier electric plane and replace them with skis adorned with velcro hook material.....see who can land on a moving runway.......... Wink......

.......post the results here .........

Dude, that's the coolest flippin' idea ever!!  As soon as I get home, and we get the truck running good, I'm totally going to do that!  And heck... that sign just may work good on the jumps too!  lol

I knew a guy who had one, used some bike kicker jumps as ramps over things.  They were loads of fun, and boy did they go fast.  Quite Crazy

Thanks, yeah can't wait to play with the beast.  I'm thinking of getting my own car... it's smaller, lighter, 2 wheel drive, but has the same size engine as the one above... they say it will get in the high 40's, low 50's.  And it's half the price of the other!! lol  Hummm...
