Hey, I have a strange problem when taking screen shots with Irfanview.  Sometimes (1 out of 10?) my plane doesn't show up at all.  The rest of the scenery is fine.

Anyone else see this?  Is this just a bug in the program?

Probably just a bug. I've never used I view to take screenies, but I've had the same thing once or twice with both Rapidshot and FRAPS

Same here. I don't use IrfanView for screenies. But sure use the heck out of it for lots of other stuff.

Darn sure use it to edit my screenies though.

This happens mostly when taking shots in rapid succesion.
Meaning are you just clicking away at a rapid pace?
Between each screenshot as the shot is saved there is a slight pause, if you click imediately again you capture that pause, almost like taking a screenshot of a moment in between frame rates. Sounds confusing doesn't it.
This is the only thing I can figure it to be because that is the only time i experiance it is when taking screenies in rapid succession.
If you take one then wait a split second before your next this will not happen.

I'd suggest GrabClipSave to take the shots, and only use Iview for resizing...
