I personally like the new Charger. My only problem with it is it's a 4 Door! What the heck, how can they make a four door Charger. It just makes me sick.
But, for the overall look-I like it.

I'm pretty surpised that no one else seems to like it. I know it does have its flaws, but overall I think it looks pretty mean. Plus, it has that 425hp 6.1L Hemi under the hood-it'll probably drive really nice (and fast).

It seems to be trying to enter the same market as the BMW 3 series, the mercedes c class and the Audi A4. Maybe touching on the Jaguar x type. If the Charger isnt as luxurious as those cars on the inside and as good a drive, it wont last too long. Its big its ugly and over priced.

Well, you guys can say what you want-I still like it.
But, I will admit it is not even close to the Charger of the old days. I really don't like these companies bringing back old car names as an attempt to make a new car popular (basically the GTO and Charger-the Impala did it too, but it was never that great in the first place
). Anyway, part of the reason I like the new Charger is because I absolutely love the old one's. I think the new one is cool, but it will never be a real muscle car like the old ones:

It's a 1970 Dodge Charger 500 with a 440. It's owned by my friend's dad-and it is the fastest car I have ridden in. It has about 500hp and runs the 1/4 mile in 12.38 seconds. It is definately a lot of fun.

OK, now I know this has been beaten to death-but before you decided what you think about the new Charger, look at these shots of it in action. This car is a work of art.

Thats OK buddy, its just an opinion thing.
I do agree with you about the rear though-it deffinately does have Mustang influence. But, it also is very simular in overall style to the 1st generation Chargers (1966-1967) with the large fastback, although I don't like 1st gen Chargers.
I'm not sure which Mitsubishi you are comparing the front to though. I'll be the first to admit that I know very little about foreign cars (especially asian models) so there may very well be one that looks like this. What I see in the front end is a modification to the Dodge Magnum front end (another car I don't really like). Basically all the newer Dodge's have that "cross-hair" grill, its kind of their signature thing right now. So, my first thought when I saw the Charger was the front was simular to a Dodge Magnum and the rear, like you said, had Mustang simularities-but thats just me. 8)

It looks NOTHING like a Mustang in the back.
I saw it this year at the 2005 Chicago Auto Show and it was AWESOME! It sure looked a lot nicer than the GTO does...
