yes it is.
The real question is not whether schumi can win, but whether I will be able to get up at 5am.

well, the new Ferrari was awesomely fast when it was working. Sadly though it was a bad debut though. Given time it will cause problems for others in the the future. Mclaren seem to have found the pace they need no surprise from renault. Bring on europe now. Should be fun with one of my favourate races coming up next.

Congrats to Fernando, but the man of the race was Pedro de la Rosa. That guy added the thrill to this basically quite interesting race. Some good fightin' there! 8)

Indeed. this was the first decent race of the season. With Europe comes better conditions on the track so its a level playing field. Plus better starting times:)

Another talented driver forced into test driving. Shame there aren't as many teams as there were back at the turn of the nineties in a way...

Well with the reduction in costs maybe one day we will see a new team.
I say dump get rid of Raikonen, he is not a good driver, he is an average driver in a good car. We saw what de la rosa could do with the Mclaren, Kimi's never been able to do that much with it. Too many people thought he would be the next Hakkinen and he hasnt turned out to be.

Williams shouldn't have dumped Frentzen in 1999....

I still remember 26 car grids, pre-qualifying for the lower teams, and 4 or 6 cars wouldn't actually qualify for the race at all...

What the hell Craig? What race were you watching? The new Ferrari was not "awsomely fast". Fast yes, but it still managed to stay behind the Renault. The McClaren set the fastest lap of the race, and the fastest of the weekend. Kimi is a fine driver, just not agressive. He has the precision down, just not the agression. It shows in his personality, doesn't get mad.
What are you Europeans complaining about? I have it worse than you. I got up at 4 flippin AM! that only 4 flippin hours of sleep!

Urmm the Ferraris were heavy on fuel both of them. Those heavy Ferraris in Michaels case kept up with and almost passed the supremely fast rather light renault at the time. And in Rubens case he took 10 places in 3 laps. If it wernt for troubles and it being their first race those two cars would have been better. Trust me when i say they have a ton more to give.
Yup Kimis not aggressive, no good for formula 1. You said it yourself in another post you liked how they seem to throw it round fast Kimi cant do that. Mikka Hakkinen not only did that but kept his cool.

Lacked the pure thrill of F1. It was the time F1 was evolving to what we know now. It was fun to watch but this was the begining of the end of pure F1 racing.
