Ok, here are my mirroring issues....My stupid bounding box is on an angle, dont know why....

I aligned my pivot point to "world" in the heiarchy.(before it wan an angle at the wing tip)
...

then I mirrored it
...

As you can see, it mirrored my aircraft where the pivot point was, but for some stupid reason not on the angle of the pivot point.

So I decide to move the pivot point to where I wanted it to mirror, then mirrored it.As you can see its still mirroring on an angle.
...

I think this has something to do with that weird bounding box...why is it on an angle? How can I fix it?

Any help would be great!

I would suggest, before applying a mirror modifier (not the mirror tool) to reset X-form. (under the hierarchy tab)

Sort of, close - X-Form reset is a modifier, the one I was thinking is Reset transform/ Reset Scale

Well I am planning to make it for fs9.Once I get it into fs9, I plan to make it for the combat sims(If people want it it enough). That way I could practice setting aircraft up for damage.

Once I'm done the tail I'm gonna post a wireframe image.(:

Edit:Uh, what is the difference between the p-47 "d"and "c"

Visually, the most distinguishing feature is that the P-47B, C models were "razorbacks" while MOST of the P-47Ds were "bubble-tops" with cut down rear decks.

HOWEVER, the early P-47Ds were also "razorbacks" , until one P47D was fitted with a cut down rear deck and "a canopy from a Hawker Typhoon"  ...  From the P-47D-25 series on the all around vision canopy was fitted.

There were also detail changes between the -B -C and early -D versions (apart from engines, etc).

From the -D-27 on, a dorsal fin was added ...  etc...

There were different variations on subtle shapes of the belly, etc.

(and you thought all" Jugs"  were alike ... hehe ... now watch the nit-ickers come out!)

Well, I did realize that there are both razorback and bubble canopy's for the "d" and "C".But, I will have to look into the different shape of the belly.Better take a closer look at my blueprints...

As for the nit picking, that dont bother me. I'm lookin for all the help and tips I can get Grin

Even on a marked jug, you can't always be sure what will come out when it's opened.
Aside from a couple 1/72nd scale biplanes when I was @6, I worked with 1/48th scale WW2 plastic models. The basic fuselage details of P47s were subtle enough that the basic modeller could make varaitions from the same kit without extra pieces (exept the add on top-fuselage and canopy pieces for the razorback type; dual type kit).  What I'm saying is that there was no notable difference between the fuselage belly of a razorback vs the bubbletop; however, we seem to have a shorter supply of versions with workable bubbletops.
