Well.. This was a 'Work related visit'  Roll Eyes
Got time of from school to go around shawbury and fly in the griffin ZJ707, got about 2 n' a half hours flying time in her in total.

This was only a 30min flight.. but what a flight. The plan was to take off and touchdown in a wood clearing, then navigate around everyone's houses that were onboard.

But before that, we had a wander around the hangers etc..
...
^^ Nice hawk cockpit ^^ being restored for valley at shawbury, because vallery wernt using it.

Nice one Andrew. I take it you're in the ATC. It's a lttle different to what it was in my day. The only helicopters the RAF had back then were the old S-55 Whirlwind Air/Sea Rescue jobs. Wink http://www.gatwick-aviation-museum.co.uk/whirlwind/wwind.html

PS. Sorry, but give me a proper aeroplane any day. Tongue Smiley
