Popped a few when I went this morning to the TICO Warbird show... Photos taken with a Mead binoculars/digital camera..
If this were a REAL Dr.1, I'd hate to be seeing it from that angle!
Dangnabit! Had to take out two bystanders from the lower right corner!

I cropped the images to a sensible size (no sense showing more blue sky all around), and in Paint Shop Pro, all were "enhanced" with a little bit of sharpening. The last photo had two people "interrupting" the view. Look closely and you'll see where I cloned some of the runway, etc.

I wish I could have attended but I was busy
.
I would have tried to meet you there, I'd be easy to spot with my rather long lens on a tripod connected to my D70 and being 6'4" to boot!
AMD Athlon 64 3700+&&GeForce FX5200 256Mb&&1GB DDR400 DC&&Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD&&Windows XP Professional X64 Edition
&&&&That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they kicked the pants off of my P4 3.4!

Of course, that's not counting the three (3) Piggies, and Me-208 (built by Nord), and a Yak-7 that were on display

Come to think of it, I should have taken a photo of "what to do with a retired warbird.." - a shiny black with red trim OV-10 Bronco, decked out for agricultural spraying ... now THAT's a way to get paid for having fun!

Awesome shots Felix, I have always loved Dr.1s. Unfortinately, I have never seen one actually fly. I have seen many replicas on the ground-but never one in the air.
