Hi, I picked up this unit today, it blows away anything I've used previously. Have most of the buttons assigned to their desired functions but there are some things that I cannot figure out, and am sure that the stick will do, as it seems very capable:
1) The throttle mouse cursor control button (orange) is very handy as I have an afterburner toggle switch to activate. Although the pointer can be moved into position using this, is there any way to be able to "click" once on top of the switch (besides clicking the mouse proper)?
2) Are the hat switches programmable - would like to be able to use one to zoom in/out of view.
3) Compared to my old stick (Logitec) there are fewer buttons overall. Is it possible to assign two or even three commands to the same button, using the mode switch (M1-M2-M3)? This might take care of the zoom feature as well as free up some other buttons for better ergonomic assignment.
I ask you all here because the instructions don't cover these subtleties, and trust your expertise. Thanks in advance.

and download the software required for programming. The Help file is an invaluable tutorial for what can be done with the stick. Also would be helpful for you to familiarize yourself with all the keyboard entries for FS commands then you can program these into the sticks to save scrolling around your cockpit with a mouse looking for buttons and switches. Once you do it (program the stick) you'll find it quite easy and you'll see how versatile the stick can be.

I've yet to find a joystick that matches this little analogue beauty, alas, it only works on the 8Bit BBC Micro (Circa 1982 !)
Posting drivel here since Jan 31st, 2002. - That long!
