The Zone automatically pauses your connection once you enter the the game lobby.  What ISP are you using?

Get a program called FSHost-Spy (and FSHost if you want to host flights).

You can run FSHost-Spy and see all the FS2k2 and FS9 servers that are up and running at that time. You can see what IP they are using, the people that are flying in there, where they are at, what acft. they are using, etc, etc.

Then fire up your game, start up Multiplayer, type in the IP of the server you want to join and off you go. No need to fly on the Zone.

Both programs are available here: http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshostspy/

Good luck and happy flying.

Are your ports open through a firewall?

For more information look at the sticky at the top of this forum section.

If you're not sure how to set your router/firewall be sure to check out the following:

www.portforwarding.com
www.firewalling.com

Good Luck! Smiley
