Hey cod4life,
(love the name!!)
Try either of the following methods to install an aeroplane:
A) Read the 'How to install aircraft' tutorial here:
http://www.simviation.com/acinstall.htm
B) Read the 'readme file' that came with your download - this will have instructions on what you need to do in order to install the aircraft.
C) Download 'FS2002 FlightSim Manager' (on page 6 of the FS2002 General Utilities downloads) here:
http://www.simviation.com/fs2002utilities_gen6.htm
- this is an application which takes the hard work out installing aircraft, especially if you are unfamiliar with moving files around.
I know a lot people will say they don't like using 'add-on Managers', but I use 'Flightsim Manager' occasionally (when i'm being lazy) & I don't have any problems with it, although I have found a few aircraft that it just won't install. If you get that problem, just try a different aeroplane.
Hope this is helpful,
Cheers,
TSC.

Easiest way to do it is by downloading the file and extracting into your desktop... open FS2002 AIRCRAFT folder and simply drag the extracted file (the file that contains the plane you downloaded) into the AIRCRAFT folder and you're set...
