as the titile says what is the max heigh this plane will fly in fs or out of intest the real world??

According to AeroSite, and Simviation (part of this parent website), 41,000 ft is the listed service ceiling.  Boeing's own website (747-400) does not mention service ceiling, but rather cruise altitude, at 35,000 ft.  If you want to check it out I did a search on Yahoo for 747-400, all the info is right at hand.  Hope this helps

I've been in a 747 as high as 38,000... however I've also been in a 737-800 at 38,000... 41,000 ceiling sounds just about right though...

The Aircraft Hankbook that comes with FS2002 says the Max Operating Altitude is 45,100 ft.

Don't try to get there right away with a full fuel load.
