It is the Cessna Citation X, unfortunately the only one available for FS9 is payware Sad

I've been searching for a developer who would make one and haven't had any luck so far Undecided

I think Chuck Dome did one. Or was that FS8...

The "Chuck Dome" version of the Citation X done for FS2002 is an "FSDS" model and works fine in FS9. It's available here:

Enjoy!

in my honest opinion, the eaglesoft citation x might be payware but it's one amazing piece of aircraft and absolutely worth every penny. you won't be able to find a freeware model anywhere near that quality and if you are seriously interestet in that plane, I'd strongly suggest saving some money for it. you won't regret it, believe me!

ps: i am not an employee of eaglesoft  Grin

I tried that freeware one. I was amazed it left my simulated  local airport like a rocket! Pretty smooth too.

I don't like the Chuck Dome model v. much. It flies unrealistically and is not pretty inside or out. I will not waste my hard-earned money on payware though, I'll wait for a Cit X that is free.

The only thing stopping me from buying the Eaglesoft Citation X is the fact that the FMC is not able to input the flight plan other than reading from the FS9 GPS.  I look at it this way.  If I'm going to pay hard earned money for an aircraft I darn well expect to find everything in it that would be found in the real world version (with-in FS limitations that is). I appreciate the work that went into what it is but what they did is with-in the capabilities of very talented freeware designers.  I can find many many freeware jets with partially functional FMC's or even none at all so why would I pay for one?  PMDG can do them, flight1 can do them, wilco can do them, and so can PSS.  Why would it be any different to expect one on a biz jet.  I would pay more for that functionality.  I simulate to get me as close as possible to real fight. I want to do as much as possible of what a real world pilot would also have to do.  Anything less returns the sim to merely a fancy video game.

I can only hope that someone will come up with an Embraer Legacy model of the ERJ PIC which is now available from Wilco.  I saw one featured in "Flying" mag last summer.  The Legacy is very fine as a biz jet.  A liittle short on speed and altitude compared with a Gulfstream or an X but at least one built on the ERJ PIC platform would have full cockpit functionality which is something not found in other more dedicated biz jet models for FS9.  I really wish that Yannick Lavignes Falcon 50 would work in FS9.  At least they had Littons for navigation which I can easily come close to using CIVA or any one of several freeware INS gauges I have. I guess I'm just picky but i want real. As real as possible and no compromise on that especially if I pay.
