Hello all,
In my ongoing search for
freeware
aerobatic aircraft for FS9 I figured I’d ask the folks here which ones they recommend and, more importantly,
where
they are. I mean aerobatic aircraft as in an Extra 300 or Su-31, not fighter jets like the F-16 or slow bipes like the Tiger Moth. Preferably with a VC, the 2d panel view is not that good for aerobatics.

AMD Athlon 64 3700+&&GeForce FX5200 256Mb&&1GB DDR400 DC&&Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD&&Windows XP Professional X64 Edition
&&&&That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they kicked the pants off of my P4 3.4!

Try the Bellanca Super Decathalon, available here on SimV.
One of my all-time faves. Fantastic aircraft, VC and flight dynamics.

Amen that decathalon is suberb!
There's also a decent Mudry cap 10, available somewhere...
The Roma Urbe Siai Marchetti is also a wonderful aircraft, albeit a little rough on the framerates...
Also for a challenge try the beautiful globe swift model..
not much climb, but a definate thrill when you can successfully complete a manuever without running out of airspeed...

I recomend "Jim LeRoy's Pitts S-2S Bulldog" by Mikko Maliniemi.
It's an overlooked freeware gem that was developed for FS2002 but works perfectly with FS2004.
Avalable right here at Simviation.
