I passed my drivers liscence test last wednesday and on the saturday I spent my hard earned cash (I now know why the hel I work at Little Chef lol) on my new beautiful peugeot 106.

It is a 1.1 106 Zest2 2001 model with power steering, ABS, Airbag and most importantly CD player all for the price of £2900 runs like a dream and surprisingly powerful for a 1.1

Anywho what was your first car?

Mine was a 1989 pontiac grand am, got it in 2001. it was a real POS, but still had some get-up-and-go. A year (or so) after I got it, I pulled out in front of a plumber, and he crushed it with his big plumber van. No body was hurt at least...

Okay, I was able to find the one remaining person who had a picture of the thing I first had that some might call a "car".

...

To be fair, I've come a long way.  Here's what I currently have:

...

*Disclaimer:  Neither of these are my ACTUAL vehicles...just the result of a carefully chosen Google image search.  I really own them, but not those in the pictures.  lol

First car was a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro (thank you dad!). It ran like a dream and could smoke almost anything out there. Manual tranny, obviously locks and windows were manual. And airbags? What are airbags? Didn't exist back in the day.
...

Had it for six years, during college I went racing one night with a few friends, bumped into my adversary doing about 120, ended up spinning and rolling it four or five times, spent two weeks in the hospital.

Currently own a 2001 Porsche Boxter. Bought it new in 2000. I love it to death, power everything, manual transmission (why would you own a Porsche with an auto?), and air bags, which is nice. Looks almost exactly like this one. Hopefully I won't roll it, but I have managed to do 120. Wink

since then ive owned a bmw 323i (quick), a tvr chimeara (quicker still! but too unreliable) and a few 205 gti's. i would say these are my favourite motors of all time, especially my current beast! oh, and ive got a boring vauxhall corsa for the missus too....blah!    Smiley

I've got an ancient 106. I was hoping my sister would write it off before I got it. But alas no. Oh well, learn to drive in it then start saving for a Land Rover...
