There are some whacks out there all right.

Blood from a stone.

Magic or quantum leap of the imagination.

Ceremonial rites perhaps.

I'm not immune, tried it myself, lucky I still have a card.

Lucky to have a good card, one with it's own utility to re-flash it to it's former glory after all the messing about.....

Yeah soft modding and overclocking is much safer. Hardware is mor reliable thn people think if you learn the limits  and have good parts you should be fine bit I have never tried a BIOS flash of the video card tho. I am not about to touch my 6800 Ultra either Wink

Hardware modding...
ever seen the contraptions that are used there (potmeters on resistor positions, cutting out and changeing capacitors and resistors)

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here
