I have read some People are looking for Lindsay Watt trees and others materials. I know where you can find it. you can find them at:

http://www.simnetwork.com/

At the CFS2 scenery section.

You can also find it at the Milne Bay GSL scenery Pack in the CFS2 secenery section. It comes with a self installer pack for those of us that are not familiar on how to install this new Objects.

You probably can find this Milne Bay pack right here in this same Website.

I hope you find this information helpful

Hi Guys,

Just FYI, Lindsay Watt actually made 4 sets of scenery object libraries.

The first two were released under the name of MaskRider, with MR at the begining of the file name. Both of these collections are "static" scenery objects- api macro based, for use with bgl style scenery.

The second two object libraries were "dynamic" object collections released in conjunction with MaskRider GSL scenery releases but under the name LW and LWD for Lindsya Watt Designs. These are objects meant to be used with MB and GSL scenery.

Niether Lindsay or I ever uploaded any of these 4 scenery object collections, or anyother MaskRider scenery for that matter,  to SimNetWork for public distribution.

However, that being said, I am not particularly concerned since SimNetWork does give more than full credit where credit is due- even though each and every thumbnail, etc, displayed in their pages alongside the download links has been "borrowed" straight out of the old MasKRider domain website and readme files! Hehe! Smiley

Anyway, after the old MaskRider domain name web site closed and Lindsay closed his LWD web site, we decided to upload everything to SimOutHouse and to Netwings.

When I started releasing GSL scenery I have since also uploaded it here to Simviation.

For the last year and a half Lindsays 4 scenery object libraries have all been available exclusively (as far as we knew,  Wink ) over at SimOutHouse- this is where we would kinda prefer that they were got from.  Grin

Here are the links:

Here is the link for the original MR_Library_Objects_Complete.zip (static library objects and api macros for bgl style scenery making):

Here is the link to the original MR_Tree_Package.zip (static tree library objects and API macros for bgl style scenery making):

Here is the link to the LW_Library_Objects.zip (dynamic objects for GSL and MB):

Here is the link to LWD_Tree_Libray.zip (dynamic trees scenery objects for MB and GSL):

Cheers,
Chris

Maskrider I"am glad you made this post. You and your group have made a tremendous contribution to this community.

I"am happy you clarify this matter to all of us. I do not have any affiliation nor do I belong to the Sim-network team.

I do like their site but not more than I like Sim-outhouse and this Web it self. They are all settup to help others in our enjoyment of the Sim World.

What more glorious behavior can man do than help each other without any material benefit to them self.

My only objective is to help other as many of you have help me in my enjoyment of this and other Sim games.

I post what I have  learn thruogh trial and error so other may bennefit from what I have learn so far.

This forum and others have taught me that are still good people in this world.

Thank you

James007

Hi James007,

Thanks for the kind words- we appreciate it.

Please don't think that anything I had to say about SimNetwork was in anyway aimed in your direction. It wasn't.

In fact I really don't have much to say that is negative about them WRT to my and Lindsay's stuff. They have it all nicely displayed and well credited. Can't ask for much more than that.

Cheers and good luck in you scenery making endeavours!

Chris
