On one of my Yamaha keyboards there is a selection for auto-accompaniment orchestration for "New Age" music.
It has a very unusual, off-beat, syncopated rhythm and is very relaxing to play along with....reminds my of San Francisco and "Flower Power" times... Wink... Grin...!
...the consumption of a few Magic Mushrooms helps the experience... 8)...!
...not to mention the occasional dance around Stonehenge...
LOL...!

Cheers all... Grin...!

Falcon, go  here, this is some music that I composed that I think you might enjoy. The entire "Atlantic Odyssey" album is there. ("Maiden Voyage" is ALL piano) It's free to download (or stream if that suits you) from MP3 all the way to lossless wav files, whatever you want. Please feel free to download and listen all 10 songs.
I also suggested on another post for people to use these as soundtracks for their FS video if they wanted to.
Enjoy,
Chrisco

Never heard Lanz, don't like Yanni. I prefer the old classical stuff, but I guess I like some of George Winston's  stuff and Pat Metheny...
But for simple, atmospheric stuff, I'll take Brian Eno any day...

My mom is nuts about Yanni and Enya, so I've heard a lot of their stuff. It's nice, relaxing, and has an interesting sound, but I wouldn't go as far as buying one of their albums.... Great, "Sail away" by Enya is now stuck in my head...

Well, I really like this album I just got from Enigma, which you could classify as new age.  I used to like Yanni a lot too, but that was like 5 years ago and I don't remember any of his music now.
