hi everyone!,

i have a wired netgear dg834 adsl router. i want to add a wireless option to my network. i want to know will a d-link wireless access point work if i plug it in to my wired adsl router. im using a centrino toshiba laptop. this is the link for the d-link acess point.

Suggestion ......... try checking the netgear site and/or any manuals that came with your router.
Otherwise try Googling for any other help that their might be out there.

It's a rather specific request about specific equipment that most of us won't have any knowledge of.

First of all, I would not buy that product.

It has WEP support (which is a joke, go for WAP or WAP-PSKs support). Secondly, putting a router on another router works (supposedly). But you'll see a speed drop and it does complicate LAN setups.

Just buy a dsl modem (regular one, no built-in router). Then attach a reg router to it. Best and easiest setup.
