Hi, I have downloaded and installed a DHC2 TUrbo Beaver and I noticed that as soon as I takeoff the aircraft cannot fly level. Instead it keeps rolling to the right and I have to correct all the time. This continues throughtout the whole flight and always to the right. It is no a small effect though as it will rolls 20 banks right (always right) in less than a minute unless I do a correction. Is it a normal bahaviour of that airplane or there is something wrong with the model?

Thanks

I had a problem like this recently and discovered that my autopilot was on and the aircraft was trying to fly the course from the previous flight.  From the spot view I could see the ailerons were not centered.  Also, did you try adjusting the trim?

Hope that was of some help.

It might also be torque or propfactor. If jimclarke's suggestion isn't it, try disabling both torque and p-factor.

I finally used a dictionary to spell my name right.

Thanks for the suggestions but it is not the autopilot and I have already disabled torque and P-factor. I have even tried several difficulty levels just in case but there was absolutely no effect in the aircrafts behaviour. It seems that this feature it is somehow embedde in the model. Only when I increased from roll_stability from 1.0 to 3.0 (a lot!!) the effect was somehow better but this had an impact in the aircraft's ability of turning.

Hi Poseidon ,
Have you tried calibrating your joystick ?   Seems also like you can turn off the Num Lock and hit 5 on the rt. number pad to center controls .  Have not done that lately so may be get a correction on that ??  Aileron trim Left = Ctrl -- Num4  .  Aileron trim rt. = Ctrl -- Num6 .

Yes, I have calibrated the joystick. I don't think it can be anything else than the model though as all the airplanes I have installed (default and addons) work fine and the joystick as well. The only problem is with the specific one.

I will try the aileron trim though.

HI again Poseidon ,
If the Beaver is for FS2002 , tell me where you got it and the zip file and I'll give it a try on my PC .   Incidentally , rudder trim can also make a plane turn and a wing drop .
Left rudder -- Ctrl+0
Rt. rudder -- Ctrl+enter

Hi Poseidon ,
I thought I would perhaps be helpful , but am beginning to wonder .  I just got it downloaded and can't get it to keep running and then can't get it to start .  When it first appears it is running and begins to shut down immediately . Went back to the 172 and started it and also went to the default Kingair and still no luck .   Didn't try slewing it up to altitude and gliding ???

I only had a few seconds to try it so shall give it another try later today .

Hi again Poseidon ,

I just got home and tried the Tirbo Beaver again and discovered that one must turn on the fuel !!!   It had a tendency to fly rt. wing down .  I tried th aileron trim with the keyboard and was ineffective .  Used the rudder trim and seemed to work fine .
I like the realistic interior views and flies nicely and the sound is very pleasing .  The tachometer seemed a little crazy to me .

Hi,

Indeed you have to turn on the fuel first. Sorry I forgot to tell you. Usoing the rudder trim it is possible to align the flight somehow but it will need triming again when flaps are lowered and airspeed is reduced. During slow flight triming rudder will no have the same effect (it starts turning to the left while rolling to the right...) Anyway, I am sure it is something with the model.

I see you now know what I like most on this airplane. It's the interior...
Thanks for your help and time.
