A girl I was seeing came to my house right after I mopped the kitchen floor. She looked at it and noticed the difference, and asked "did you get a new floor?". this is the same girl who in highschool dropped a banana peel on the floor, and later slipped on it! I had never seen anyone actually do that before, I havnt laughed that hard since.

Another similar example is the "now what did I come in here for? ???) syndrome. This often happens to me & I remember what I went for as soon as I leave wherever I went to. I'm sure this is quite normal memory loss. Most people will experience this at some time or other, whatever their age. I'm sure it's nothing to do with dyslexia. As Woody pointed out, It's quite likely a dyslexia sufferer would be unable to read or spell the name of their complaint.

PS. I have every sympathy with genuine dyslexia sufferers but since the condition has been recognised as a medical disorder it's easy to take advantage of. I've known several people who claimed to be dyslexic as an excuse for their failings when they were quite obviously not. Not in my opinion anyway. They might have fooled the doctors but they didn't fool me. Abusing the system unfortunately affects how genuine sufferers are thought of.

My wife is so funny at times with her silly antics. We have a dish sprayer on our kitchen sink that you pull out and rinse dishes or use to clean out the sink. Well, she was being a good little house keeper and she'd taken the nozzle off to clean it of hard water build up. She patiently used a tooth pick to make sure every little hole was clear. Then reached over to rinse it off....lmao....the water shot straight up and hit the ceiling like a geyser and it was raining something awful in the kitchen as she was jumping around hollering, "How do you turn this dumb thing off!"

Her best one was when she was using a deep fryer to make fried chicken. She had her pan with egg in it and her pan with flour to roll the chicken in. Well, during the cooking process the grease popped and a small drop caught her on her cheek below her eye. She instinctively brought her hand up to her cheek really fast and bang. Hit the flour pan and it went flying straight up into the air. It looked like it was snowing in the kitchen. She was covered in flour and sneezed and flour went every where. She looked at me and said, "Don't you dare say a word!" I didn't, I couldn't, because I was lmao!
