I got an add-on software package called Flight Deck III by Abacus and tried to install it onto my new PC as an add-on for FS2004 (the package documentation indicated it as being adaptable to FS 2002 or FS2004). After installing the package FS2004 would not run, I get an error code saying that my 'version' of FS is not compatible (it seems to imply that my version of FS2004 is too new, and states that an earlier release is necessary for compatibility). So, I uninstalled BOTH FD III & FS2004. I then installed FS2002 with FD III and re-installed FS2004 but now FS2004 still will not run; I am getting a similar, but slightly different error message.  FS2002 runs with FD III OK. Will it be possible to keep FS2002 & FD III AND FS2004 on this PC? Or should I just dump the FS2002 & FD III altogether? I really want FS2004 and I had approx 15 add-ons when I had to remove it so I will have to start over. Anyone with experience involving this Flight Deck III feel free to respond. Thanks in advance.

Hi Noob. Have you taken this up with Abacus product support? I think that would be the best option. It's what I would do in your situation.

PS. Flight Deck 3 is advertised as compatible with both FS2002 & FS2004. http://www.abacuspub.com/_cart/main_fs.htm
I have no idea if this is correct but there might be an update if you have the latest FS9.1 patch installed.
