???
I have installed my FS2002 Pro into my lap-top,and forgot how bad the gps.appeared, and functioned after being spoiled by the Garmin in FS2004. Is there any way to up-date the GPS,in FS2002 to the new standard, set forth by the Garmin in FS2004? Thanks Ken

There is no accounting for taste.  I hate the 04 GPS and keep looking for one that looks like 02.

Anyway, you can probably download a similar one from the library here or at AvSim.

Thanks for the help. I probably over rely too much on the ground terrain mapping function. Ken Smiley

The FS04 GPS:

1. Is a resource hog.  Every time I turn it on I lose 5 FPS.

2. Is horribly complicated.  I admit that I gave up on it before trying to wade through the instructions.

3. Takes up 1/3 of my screen - so much that it covers up the icon to turn it off.  If I shrink it to a reasonable size I lose all detail.

For fireboss, I suggest he refine his search to the keyword "Garmin".  The FS02 GPS gauges won't give the full functionality of the FS04 gauge, though.
