Don't have much info on these, but they're pretty neat. I really would love to build (and fly!) an amphib. like this... first thing that popped into my head was:"Snidely Whiplash!" (for those old enough to remember the "Yankee Doodle Pigeon" cartoon spinoff of "Whacky Racers"):
