One advantage of water cooling in Alaska...

That's an Eheim 1048 Water pump and WAL-MART pre-mixed 50/50 anti-freeze, diluted again to 75w/25c
...

This is the transmission cooler I was gonna put in my truck, but I sold it before I did. 2 120mm fans zip-tied to it. The plasic coat-hanger was put there to give distance from the building wall for the fans. (Give me a break, it was 4 AM)
...

And then the screenshot of my ASUS Probe. Current outside temperature: 4 F
...

I don't have any fans, except my GeForce 6800GT's (hopefully soon to be rectified) and my PSU, in my computer.

That 1.9 volts is what gets me at 2430 MHz (AXP3524 equivelent) with an AXP 2100 (1733 MHz).

1.65v

It's a T-Bred 'B'

Here is the pic of my messy case (airflow isn't exactly something I worry about anymore) with the el-cheepo waterblock. In this picture, you see 3 of the 4 fans in my computer, 2 on the graphics card, and there are 2 in the PSU, you see the inside one (obviously).

...

my case isn;t set up for optimal airflow, nor is it set up for looks... currently.

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Does the temperature  of the CPU change based on the type program you are running?  I detect a slight change in the sound emitting from my PC whenever I play graphic intensive program. Also, is an occasional (seldom but it happens)  unexplained restart of my PC an indication of instability that could be due to overclocking?

Yes, if I have BOINC running (which uses 100 percent of the CPU constantly) like usual, then turn it off, my temps will drop about 2-4C depending the outside temperature.

If you are at the max overclock for your chip, and you get occasional restarts, back it off a tad. A drop of 1 or 2 MHz FSB ought to cure your problem (assuming FSB is overclocked).

As for the noise, it depends. If you have a newer graphics card (like my 6800GY) it will speed up the fans if the GPU gets warmer, to cool it off a bit. (I haven't seen this happen yet with mine, my case is pretty cool). If you have a fan cooler on your CPU, then it may also be speeding up to ensure cooling of the CPU when it is under heavy load.

I would recommend you drop a couple MHz (as little as possible, you seem to have it set just above max stable).
