Not just aircraft on display there... this is a chunk of the Berlin Wall.
...
A two-seat variant of the SR71, with some friends... I have no idea who they are; Daddy was next to me taking a picture, and the kids really liked the Blackbird. They have "future astronauts" written all over them. Cute.
...
The engines have been removed from this SR71, but one can easily peer into the cavities and admire all that nice titanium work, as well as the wear and tear of many years of use...
...
Meet "Dumbo", one of  Intrepid's big guns.

Hm... I seem to recall you describing yourself proudly as a "jerry" in another thread... does the sight of a piece of that stupid old wall have a deeper meaning for you?

I'm a Jerry from the eastern part of Germany, living about 500m away from the Wall until it came down in 1990. So this piece of concrete is a nice reminder of the great childhood I've had.
