For real?, I always thought that thing about about adopting chinese babies was just a joke.

It's true. I know a few people who have done it. Apparently it's quite big business if you get what I mean.

You know a few people who have done it?
So your friends have all these little chinese babies running around? Shocked

Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting it down or anything, it's just like I said, I always thought people were just joking about chinese babies.

I guess a baby made in China is cheaper than one made in the USA...
most things are. ...

Nice pics and looked like a nice trip Wink

Out of curiosity...What were prices like for food and other...And was there places to buy american foods to.  Over this coming summer there is a possibility of me heading that direction, though to Taiwan.  I can tolerate most taiwanese foods my girlfriend has fixed but i need a hamburger once in awhile Tongue   But she is an exchange student and we have been discussing the possibilities of me accualy going back with her for a couple weeks.  She says things are cheaper there but she uses a credit card and is not sure by how much.

Oh thats cool! Asia is an awsome place and the people are so cool not to mention good looking. Wink Grin

There was a mcdonalds right next to our hotel and we ate there a lot. It tasted JUST as good as it does in the US and you could get a meal for 4 people for around $5. Thats burger, fries, and drink. I got to eat a lot of American food and it was (mostly) all good. Smiley

Good luck if you go to Taiwan! Smiley

I don't get that. What does ''holiday'' mean in the UK. I've heard many people on here say it. A holiday is like Christmas or Thanksgiving or Halloween. I  don't understand.

lol Ben! Doug has already said, but we always call going away on a 'break' (you use that one?) a holiday. So in school one has summer holidays. Halloween and Xmas etc are just days in the calender. Strictly speaking they are holidays (The American language is correct! Shocked ) - Holy Days - where 'holiday' comes from. Today it has changed form a church day to a well... errr... vacation! Wink It is also used to mean time off work/school
