As it turned out I was in a car accident recently and apparently when I was holding the hand bar on the passenger door bracing myself (saw the car running the light and knew we were getting T-boned) my hand got caught in it and it broke my wrist, bruised my upper arm and shoulder, and ribs, and my neck is still a little stiff...had I not seen the car coming not sure what would have happened but probably far worse as my head probably would have impacted the side glass or worse snapped my neck.
We were hit hard enough that the frame is bent on the car, but because of seatbelts we survived. Admittedly the door pushed me into the center console so I have a bruise on my left side.
At any rate this is taking me forever to type with one hand and a finger. ETA on me being back in action is 4 to 8 weeks, so fingers crossed (on my left hand) I will be back soon enopugh and pleasuring you all with my incredible and well thought out reviews *add applause*
I said applause not crickets

Im getting there. My wrist although quite tender should be in the cast another 2 weeks, then my doc says a metal splint with a bandage wrap for about 2 to 3 weeks will have me almost good as new. No heavy lifting or anything that stresses my wrist too much, but once I get the cast off I should have access to all 5 of my fingers again and at least have some grip on the controller.

Dude, that really sucks! Sorry to hear, but very glad you're doing OK!
And I know what it's like to have a tough time typing with casts... several years ago I managed to break BOTH wrists on the exact same place/bone on each ... lemme tell you, school really sucked for those 5 weeks!! lol
Lookin' forward to your reviews returning.
The day is always better when you're flying upside down.&&&&

Cast should be coming off Monday. Doc says it looks like I will only need to wear a brace at night but a wrap for the first week during the day
