...I took about 250 (just checked, 201) photos, and I'm not going to post them all...

But here's a few...

At Australia Zoo, there was 173 year old Harriet, the world oldest creature...

...

...

By the swimming pool, a green thing...

...

Sunshine Coast Model Flyers

...

And at Caloudra Airfield, the Queensland Air Museum, and an engine - anyone hazard a guess as to what it is... (the type it was from was a few yards away, this being spare)

...

Nice Harpoon being restored in the background...

Nice photos Chris, but give us a wee clue on the engine...
Would I be right in thinking she is a Rolls Royce?

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I'd say it's a Napier of some sort. They made big, interesting looking engines.

Thanks Ben. I'll see what I've got of Changi, but I was only there for about 1 hour of daylight....

Nope, Armstrong Siddeley, and it a turboprop (or two - BIG hint), and you'd probably find it on an aircraft carrier...

I think It's the twin turbine engine from the Gannet; the Armstrong Siddeley Double-Mamba 100.

AMD Athlon 64 3700+&&GeForce FX5200 256Mb&&1GB DDR400 DC&&Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD&&Windows XP Professional X64 Edition
&&&&That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they kicked the pants off of my P4 3.4!
