I sometimes can ask clearance trough the bravo airspace. What is Bravo airspace?

Airspace is divided into many categories, or classes, labeled after alphabetic letters (Class A to Class E)

"Bravo airspace" refers to Class B airspace, and you must have an ATC clearance to enter Class B.
This is so, because Class B surrounds the busiest airports which contains all the instrument approaches. So obviosly you dont want an aircraft wandering unnoticed where all the action is  Smiley

The Class B airspace is individually tailored like an upside down wedding cake, from the surface to 7000ft or even up to 12.500ft.
Hope this helps  Smiley
