Hard to believe but interesting that the Concorde's supersonic technology may still be the most workable modern design today. One would think with the massive advances in all technologies thanks to the computer revolution and the fact that the 777 was totally designed on computer that a better supersonic design than the Concorde would be possible today. Or maybe the next route for supersonic speed is actually partial orbital flight planes.

Don't forget the lack of efficiency. I bet they'll develop a sub-orbital plane that will be cheaper to operate than the Concorde.
