laptop shuts down when playing fs02 (Read 169 times)

My subject is self explanatory!

The thing is that I dont believe this has to do with my laptop selfshutting down because it gets to hot or anything, because this happens only and only if I'm playing fs2002, so I dont believe this is a hardware query ???

ofcourse I might be wrong (like most times) Roll Eyes

Yeah, I get the same problem whenever I play too long. Mine occurs with other games though too.

heat caused that problem with my old laptop. However check your battery, if its unable to hold a charge i also found this to be a problem even if it was plugged into the mains.

Nope, heat's the problem for me, I leave it plugged in to the adapter when it's on my desk.

ummmm. i have played FS2002 nonstop for 18 hours on a long flight from London Heathrow to Sydney, Australia and my laptop didnt get shut down. only time it shut down though was when i thought the power was connected to the mains and it wasnt, it lost battery power.
