I create a new folder for the new texture, then copy the files from the folder of the texture I want to repaint, then I format the new texture with Imagetool, which I think is supplied with Gmax on the FS2004 disc, then I open the new texture folder with Paint Shop Pro 9...Then when you have it repainted, save it, then when you have saved it, open it up again with Imagetool, and format it back to the original, then edit the aircraft.cfg for the new texture...

Ok I know I am not real swift at explaining things, but that is how I do it and it works for me.. Grin
