Well the kitchen "island" is in. It is Granite and it looks sweet!! The guys just left and I just completed the sink & faucet hook up! I know some of you like to keep updated as to where I am with my project, so here are the latest shots. Last time I posted shots of the kitchen, it wasn't even painted. Since then I installed the fireplace, 21" flat screen above it, new dishwasher, new fridge and the counter top underneath the cabinets is set to be installed at 1pm today! All I will have left to do is the trim around the windows and floor! Just in time for the Holidays!!

A shot from the front with the new base cabinet in and dishwasher. Need to do all the trim around the island now!
...

Here is the latest trend, the sink is mounted underneath the counter top. This way the top is smooth and lit looks really nice!
...

A shot from the side. There is our new fridge in the back and those are other counter tops that will be replaced today.
...

The faucet head is an important piece of hardware. We looked at over 2 dozed before deciding on this. You can see the fireplace in the back with Santa hanging out!
...

Gotta love the curved lines of it, she is one sexy head!!!
...

Thanks for watching!!!

Dave

Don't knock it Paz, if my missus had a cordless phone there would be no limit to the damage done or the size of the phone bill!

Thanks for commenting! As for the phone, I do have 3 cordless in the house. I threw that in temporarily because i did not want my $100 Motorola cordless falling off the bean with all the construction going on  Grin

Will keep you updated!!
