Thats a perfect sound card for most people.

If you really into sound and really want to have the absolute best sound and can afford the speaker setup to go with it, then get a audigy 4 pro like I did. Its awesomeness cannot written, but heard. Of course, it is a lot more.

However, for the most part, the audigy2 will do you just fine as I'm assuming your speaker setup wouldn't benefit from an more powerful card.

I own the Audigy 2ZS (not the Gamer) and love it.
But definately get some good speakers. I have the Creative Inspire 7:1 system bought as a package deal at Buy.com.
Got the card and speakers for about $160, unsure of the cost now it was a sale when they released the speaker setup but it ROCKS!!!!!
