??? Well, I'm really baffled by this recent development. My Saitek X45 will not give me full deflection of control surfaces, only around 75% or so compared to keyboard actuation. All control surfaces in all a/c in FS2002 are equally affected. Here's the weird part - it works fine in fs9. I have re-installed and re-calibrated to no avail. This is a recent development, noticed it after doing a BIOS update. I have FSUIPC for 2K2 but I haven't used it for any controller calibration yet, (mainly 'cause I haven't figured it out) Could there be a connection here? Any other ideas??  Thanks, folks

Obvious question, but it needs to be asked.  Did you check the sensitivities?

You shouldn't need to calibrate your controller using FSUIPC, but if you read through the docs once or twice, you can figure it out.  It took me a few trials and errors but it's simple.

I'm at work now and heading out to sea so I can't give you a quick tutorial right now.  I'll be back on the 17th if no one else does.

Skittles,  Thanks for the offer. I am gonna take a whack at calibrating in FSUIPC tomorrow. As you said, it starts to make sense after a bit so I'll try it. I'll post results when I have them.

Ben, Not sure I should even attempt to explain since I'm still learning about what it does and how, but I'd describe it as a utility for fine-tuning FS. Go to www.schiratti.com/dowson and check it out or do a search here for it. there's gotta be lots of info around.  Cheers

Got it sorted out. Figured out how to calibrate the X, Y  and rudder axes using FSUIPC and the controller now gives me full travel. Thanks for the offer, Skittles.

Glad to be of help.  Do you use other controllers? Yoke or Throttle quadrant?  If so, or if you plan to, I created a config swapper to help.
