Fozz, if you install XP I recommend you burn your absolute must save data and do a complete upgrade, not just an over write.  Most problems people have experienced on XPem from the 98-XP over write upgrade.  It doesn't work that well and still leaves 98 ghosts.  I found out from experience.  Its well worth it to spring for a few packs of cdrw and spend the time backing up and then do a complete re-format/XP install.

Hi Gary...!

..it's only when you realise that you have collected so much "really useful stuff" on your hard drive over the years, that it will require a shed full of CD's to store it all on... Roll Eyes... Grin...!
(That is the time when you wake up to the fact that a single CD doesn't really hold that much flippin' data..).... Cry...!
LOL...LOL...LOL...!

Cheers all... Grin...!

Paul.....(still not brave enough to attempt it...)... Embarrassed...!
LOL...!

I never thought this would go on as long as it has:)
My closing comments on this, although Mr Fozzer i think you should install XP, its best to stick with what your used to. Lets face it, if your happy to deal with the problems you get, then why not keep it? If and when the time comes for a new computer then you dont have to worry about risking installing XP, for now enjoy 98 i guess:) Wink
