Hello everyone,

I've decided to purchase my first payware aircraft, and I was thinking the T-34 Mentor.  The problem is, I don't know whether to choose Carenado's or Alphasim's.

I am currently leaning towards Alphasim, because their T-34 is a tad bit cheaper and appears to come with more liveries.

So, which would you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance,
Josh

I recommend the Carenado Piper Cherokee 180  Cheesy
Oops that wasnt a choice..... Sad

I dont have either one, but I know some people who have the Carenado version and they all say it is wonderful.....Good luck with whatever one you choose .. Grin

And as far as liveries, there are planty of repaints availible for the Carenado version at the various download sites.... Grin

Thanks for the reply, BiggBaddWolf!  Cheesy

You're right about the repaints for the Carenado one, I just checked Avsim & No-Nodes and they are chock full of 'em  Grin

I'll wait a bit longer for more replies until I choose....maybe Grin

OK, I grew a little impatient waiting for more replies (I have no patience Wink) So I went ahead and bought Carenado's T-34.  All I have to say is:

You can have my Piper Cherokee T-34 Mentor when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the yoke stick!

Sorry Josh, was away for a few!! Savas is out too but will be back shortly!!

Glad you went with Carenado's Mentor!! Yes it is a bit more but well worth it. Alphasim's stuff is good, but the Carenado kite is nice!!

Great VC, very friendly, nice detail and a joy to fly!! If you do a search for "Mentor" over at Avsim, you will find many different repaints for her! Enjoy!!!
