Hi all.

There is a new freeware stand alone TACAS "glass cockpit" guage that has been uploaded here on SimV in the last day or so by Danny Ho.  It uses FSUIPC (and WideFS) to access the sim's data stream and seems like a nice little simple package.

BTW... it can be run on the same machine that the sim is running on........ as a normal window.

I downloaded it today and gave it a fast "test flight".  A couple of things I really like.... and a couple of things that I'd like to see different.  Gives stuff like a little "Traffic, Traffic" audio warning and visual color changes to the blips.  Range is selectable...as is the info it displays with the aircraft blips.

I'll write more of my thoughts on it later when I've had a chance to test it out more.  It has the potential to end up in my simpit.

All in all...... a nice possible addition to your simpit.

It is available here:

best,

.................john
