I only hope that this is okay in this forum.
SaVas or Fly2e...
For some one who does'nt own alot of Payware scenery,Just Payware a/c.
Would FS-GS be worth it? I ask here, Because I feel more comfortable...
I mean My system is getting old...AMD Athlon XP 1500+ 1.3Ghz
I have 1.50 Gig of RAM on the mother board which is,MS-6380E ATX With the Via KT333 Chip.
And a Ti 4200 video card....
Windows XP home.
So would it be wise to upgrade any hardware,Then use them?
And how does he help you?,My goodness I still have a 56k dial up!

Best bet is to get in contact with Micahel at FS-GS.  First thing he will do is go through your basic setup and inform you of things that could be worth altering etc.

It is then up to you if you wish to go and purchase any new hardware, but you do have this option before going ahead with the service and Michael would advise of the best stuff to get.

I cant say what results you would get from your setup with Michaels service as I have no idea.  Though I am sure Michael could make your sim run smoother and look better on your PC no probs.  I am extremely happy with the way my sim now plays after the FS-GS service  Grin

Send a message to Ramsa329 from the boards. He is Michael of FS-GS, and ask him a few questions. Im sure he will answer you truthfully.

With my system its a change between night and day.

I am more than elated/happy/over joyed with the result of his help.

Hello Cody, and thanks for asking. Here is my experience.

I used to run a Sony Vaio, Intel Pentium 4, 1.4ghz, XP Pro OS, NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400, 512MB Ram before my new rig. I had stuttering problems and my shots were not so good. I hooked up with Michael back in March of 2003 and spent a few hours on my machine. Like you have heard, he does not just say, OK, put this slider here, etc…
It is a full over haul of you PC to run the Sim. There are so many adjustments and tweaks that he does to your machine outside the sim, that it is truly a mid boggling experience! He is a real genius.
So as you can see, the above system was not the best, but if you click on some of the links, you can see what my sim was looking like back then. I obviously had frame rate issues when in busy airports but the overall flying experience was smooth. I also did not have any terrain meshes or any scenery running. But for clarity and decent flying experience, his services were well worth the money.

The shot links below are from last winter with the old system and Michael's work. He did not have allot to play with in terms of my hardware, but he did manage to squeeze everything he could out of it!

So you can see with that Intel Pentium 4, 1.4ghz, XP Pro OS, NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400, 512MB system, I was doing pretty well! I can’t tell you what you may experience, but if you contact him at Ramsa329@msn.com, I am sure he will let you know if it is worth it. If you have any questions, always feel free to ask!

Obviously now, I can fully fly my sim with the heaviest of meshes, Ultimate traffic at 100%, Active Sky with full detailed clouds & weather and still average my FPS at 41. No stuttering and eye candy for miles to see. I bought some Payware and now I am hooked on it! Not that you need Payware, that is just a personal interest. There is allot of freeware out there that is great, but you need to start with at least one Payware and that would be FS-GS!
