Well, no dice.  I got it put in the right spot, but it just doesn't want to work.

And since that happened I have tried loading Gmax onto my laptop, so I could transfer stuff over to it to export.  I figured it would work since I'm running XP and its a much faster machine.  But no luck.  Whenever I try to export, MakeMDL tries to start, but then just crashes and I HAVE NO IDEA WHY!!! Angry Angry

Looks like my modelling days might be over . . . Sad

Well, have you tried to run MakeMDL as standalone on the laptop? If so, and it works, you can always install MDLCommander and save the X file then just use MakeMDL from that point. Also, how have you installed the gamepack?

If you place your dunce cap squarely on the head, and follow the gamepack installation instructions TO THE LETTER, all gets installed correctly.
