Looking at the Dell 8300, or even the 8400 as a good low cost option. Any luck with CFS3 on these systems? Thanks- Thunderboy

Should run very well on both systems. Both are highend.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. Welll, they are a great deal for the $, and in 6 mos, they should be very very cheap, around $4-500.00, but alot of people have trouble running CFS3. Just wondering if anyone has a Dell and runs CFS3. I should ask Fireman I guess... Shocked

Runs fine on my system. With thoes PCI-Express cards on the new Dells, it should be blazing fast.

Not bad for $500!

If it was mine, I'd be looking for 1GB RAM and a Geforce 6800 card.

But, I'm a person who's upgraded twice at least for CFS3 and still get iffy performance....  Sad

I'm running a 2 year old Dell 4550 and CFS3 plays with
no problems whatsoever. Have 1Gb Ram and GeForce4
4200,8x,128 Mb. Not high end stuff but perfectly adequate.
