Ok people I have been having this problem for about 2 weeks now and i need your guys suggestions of what it could be possibly , anyways my computer screen is really dark and i can jhardly see anything , i have adjusted the contrast and brightness and everything but i cant seem to fix it , i dont know if it could be a problem with the driver or what but maybe somebody knows and can help , i would greatly appreciate it sorry for t6he poor spelling just tired lol

You may also be able to adjust brightness and contrast with the software side of the drivers, have you gone into your display properties and adjusted those?
What do computers and air conditioners have in common?
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Did you do anything that you remember just before this started happening? Do you remember installing new software (possibly new video card drivers) around the same time?

Is it a monitor with different modes? have u accidently activated one?
My Mitsubishis Diamond pro 930sb I run quite dark but when playing games I activate Super Bright mode that enhances everything.
Also check the gamma setting on your graphics properties and see if thats been turned down at all,
