I have the TrackIR2. If it's going to be a long time before you get into multi-monitor, yes I recommend it.
Do you have any questions about the product or software?

What do computers and air conditioners have in common?
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Decided to get the IR3 Pro, and man is it cool. I'm still trying to get used to it. Makes thinks a little weird on final since I'm not used to it. I love being able to turn onto final and slowly track my turn w/ my head. 8)

Yeah, when I get established onto final, I turn off the Tracker until I'm on the taxi way.

I've read a little about this thing and it sounds like it can be very usefull but does it not require you to stick a dot on your forehead? And if so how many "dots" come with it? and when you run out of "dots" how much does it cost for more?

I did actually try putting a dot on my forehead. It fell off after 10-15 minutes and wouldn't go back on.
Don't know how much replacements are.
If you use a headset for ATC or whatever, you can attach a dot to it. They stick to anything which isn't too strechy and doesn't produce oils, wetness like skin. I've had mine for about a year and haven't used any other dots.

Are the saftey glasses for flying bi-planes? or does your force feedback really work that good?
Usually when I'm flying I'm at home from a hard day at work so the last thing I want to do is put on a hat or saftey glasses. I wear that crap for 9-10 a day already.

I put them on the goggles just to try it, and pictured them for an example. I never use them. I use the hat.

I use one of the larger square stickers on my hat. Works beautifully and I never even notice it's there.
