No air display would be possible without the willing helpers working away in the background. Here's my little tribute to the lads & lasses at Old Warden who work so hard for our enjoyment. Every one is an aircraft enthusiast like me, they have to be. I asked one of them when he expected to finish work. He told me it wouldn't be before 11.30 pm.
These were taken at about 2.30 pm, 2 hours before the display was due to start.
Right-ho chaps. Back for another one.
Ain't she beautiful?
Finally, I enhanced the shot I posted in an earlier thread to brighten it up a little.
The organisation is fantastic & runs like a well-oiled machine. Well done everyone & thanks.

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Great sequence of shots there pal. Most folk dont realise just how much work goes on behind the scenes to make these events run smoothly and keep these magnificent aircraft flying for us to enjoy.
