Could you also include:
What kind of amplifier you own?
What kind of features you would expect to find on the all-in-one guitar holder?
Are there any key guitar accessories you think should be included/have space included for? (e.g. headphones or pedals)
What guitar accessory do you seem to collect the most of? (e.g. pedals or cables)
Thank you very much for your time,
Adam.

Hey Adam,
Thought I'd be the first to reply
Here goes:
AMP(S) - TWO Peavey XXX 212 Combo's @ £800 EACH
GUITAR - ONE Ibanez K-7 Signature in Firespark Blue @ £1,189
Plus more pedals and cables than I'll need EVER
As for what I'd like to see in an all-in-one - room for EVERYTHING, except maybe the HUGEST of amps.
As for collecting most of - has to be picks (last counted at 75
[FEB 04])
Thanx for giving me a reason to show-off
How about you?
Carl out.....

hmmm...six guitars all in their own case...
2 electric
1 shallow-body accoustic/electric...
1 dreadnought accoustic
1 classical
1 full size accoustic 12 string...
I have 3 different amps (Marshall, accoustimass, adn some old school company)
As for pedals, all I have is a Danelectro Chorus, and a Zoom 505 effects processor..
Hundreds of sounds all in one push of a button!
No need for hundreds of patch cords!

Well, I'm a bass player, but its a guitar, and its electric, so I figured I'd throw in my 2 cents
I have a Peavy combo amp, not sure of the model.
My bass is a BC Rich NJ Beast, and I also have an Ibanez TR-70, an old Peavy that I dont remember the model of, and my newest investment is a Washburn AB-20 acoustic/electric.
As for storage, I keep my amp and the BC Rich at my guitarists house where we practice. He lives alone, and thus has no qualms about the living room being full of musical equipment, so we just leave it all set up unless we take it out somewhere. My Ibanez hangs by its chain (yes, it has a chain) from my curtain rod, and the Peavy is in a closet somewhere I think. The Washburn has its own stand
I think most musicians have a "jam room" or at least a corner of a room where they keep all their junk, so I don't know how well an all-in-one stand would do. I've seen stands that can hold 3-6 guitars, which seems like they would be pretty handy on stage or if your space is limited at home. One thing I thought would be pretty cool is a gun cabinet type stand for home. That way, you'd have room for cables, picks (though I dont use them), tuners, etc. and a door would keep the dust off of your guitars you don't use a lot. A lock would keep your babies safe from the kids too

I did not vote, but here is my meager equipment list...
A Red/Orange Gibson Les Paul Copy that I've had for over 20 years.
A White Fender Strat w/tremelo, 1 single coil and two humbucker pickups and strings that badly need to be changed.
A Dual Channel 100W single speaker Crate amp w/reverb.
That's it.

When I say all-in-one music stand, I mean a stand that holds an amp, guitar, cables, pedals etc. This is background research for my project basically, so I know the needs of a guitarist. Thanks for replying.

Ok here it goes...
Guitars - Gibson Les Paul Studio
Standard Mexican-made Fender Strat
Fender Tom Delonge Signature Strat. (Don't ask)
Amp - Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier Rect-o-verb (50 watts)
Marshall 4 x 12 JCM900 1960 Speaker Cab
Pedals/FX - Line 6 PODXT. Perfect for direct recording to PC.
Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive (distortion) Pedal
BOSS TU-2 Chromatic Tuner Pedal. A must have for every performing guitarist.
As for all-in-one...whats the fun in that? I'm a total gearhead. Once had a bad case of G.A.S. as you can see...(gear acquisition syndrome). Gotta love ebay!!
It's no wonder I never have enough money for flying lessons...

Amps: Gorilla half stack (now blown, sitting in a corner collecting dust)
Guitars: Epiphone Les Paul Custom with a few hardware mods (locking strap buttons, selector switch mod), Peavey Raptor II (soon to be hot-rodded & a midi pickup added), Fender F65 (vintage acoustic)
Pedals: George Davis Wah-wah, various DOD pedals and a few Danelectro pedals
Misc other stuff: Apex condensers & dynamic microphones, Edirol UA-5 audio interface, Edirol PCR-30 MIDI controller, Matrix tuner, too many picks to choose from (though I prefer the medium-light Dunlop Match Piks)
At the moment I'm running everything through my audio interface and into Native Intruments Guitar Rig - this program beats the PANTS off of the Line 6 PODs - given I'm only using a demo at the moment, but that piece of software's next on my list - the price tag is $445 US and includes a footswitch/interface.
