Ever since I was a kid, I have dreamed of getting close enough to a B-17 (my all time fav WWII bomber), and being 34 years old having never seen one in person, I am considering the opportunity of a lifetime. Fuddy Duddy will be within 300 miles of where I live, and flights are $395 or so for 45 minutes Smiley

Contemplations....

My advice dont contemplate too long. The B17 is even more beautiful in person, and to have the opportunity to fly in one is not something that happens every day. If you have the time and of course the money, why not?

Yeah man, do it!  300 miles and $400 is MORE than worth the experience!

I may not have spent $400 on a ride,
but I did spend seven bucks to tour the inside of one.

If you want it go for it or you'll always regret it. $395 is a small price to pay for a dream come true. Wink

Enjoy the trip. Cheesy

hmmm..tomorrow is the Aviation day out at the school's airport...nice little drive to get there, but promises to be interesting with a b-25, and a b-17....

Not going to pay for a ride quite yet as in about a year I'll graduate and my parents said that they would pay for a ride...

still toured one last weekend and plan on touring the one tomorrow...
